Pioneer Special Editions or "PSE" offered many Remastered Movies normally with Special Features that are unavailable on other LDs. Pioneer discs are known for some of the best pressings in the industry! Over 78 Unique Pioneer Titles They introduced over 78 Unique Deluxe LaserDisc Movie Titles from July of 1991 until April of 1999. Many Pioneer LD Movies are in the Original Aspect Ratio (OAR) as in the Theatrical Release and the Sound was remastered in either Dolby Digital AC-3, Dolby Surround Sound or Digital Sound. Most releases includes Special Features such as: Theatrical Trailers, Promotional Materials, Exclusive Documentaries, and much more. Some even include Running Commentary, Storyboards, Screen Tests, Scripts, Behind-the-scenes Footage and other special features. Many are Director Approved
